Eh, would have been cool but I dont doubt that the next version of Kinect or something will have it. Seeing as how much it already does, this really isnt a downside.

This would be a really nice feature to include as it may capture an audience that no videogame has ever been able to approach really. _________________ Live by the Creed

I think that finger recognition would be significant for Kinect. I feel that it limits the capabilities and potential of the system. Although, in their defense, the tech for it probably won't be available/cheap for 3-5 years (so they better get crackin' ). Think about it, if it could tell when you flexed or flicked your fingers, that's the equivalent of 10 different button commands, and ultimately 10^10 different combinations available. Not to mention it makes (would have, that is) Kinect the best motion sensor for FPS games; arguably the biggest market on 360; out there. Think about it, you can actually pull the trigger, you could actually pull the pin on a grenade, you could actually give silent commands to your AI sqaud. I just hope that its lack of finger recognition is a software issue, and not a hardware one. Software can be fixed, hardware has to be bought. Either way, I most likely won't be getting Kinect until it or its successor has this ability/feature
