Unlike Sony's attempt to appeal to core gamers with their KB Move ads, these casual centered Kinect ads will sells millions of units. What MS understands that Sony doesn't is that motion gaming is only really popular with people that don't even consider themselves gamers. A fun family activity sells millions. A dildo shaped controller that acts like a Wii Mote will only make casual gamers think they already have a Wii for that.
It's not for us. It might be in the future, but MS knows if they want to sell it now they'll be selling it to small children, soccer moms, and grandparents. Sony can add Move support to Socom all they want, but no serious Socom fan will use it.
Advantage Microsoft.
Oh and the Kinect ads are no more silly than the Wii's were and that worked out for Nintendo pretty well.
