| both have shields but chief has thicker armor and augmented muscles/bones/reaction time.

| shephard..come on he took on all the geth,stopped saren and sovereign,got all the most badass people from all the alien races in me2 and stopped the collectors at the end which seemed impossible,and in me3 he is going to save the earth and bring all the other races to finish the fight..so for me..im voting for shephard |

hes a silent protagonist in the games(Silent protagonists are better imo) but he is actually a very good character if youve read the novels.And he sure as hell isnt stale or boring.I mean seriously, kicking covvie ass, then flood ass then blowing up Halo is stale and boring my ass.

Silent protaganist's better? No way. And he's technically not a silent protagnist, he has a VA and quiet a few lines. It's just none are very memorable. |
