Where is Shogun 2 Total War?!
It has graphics that puts the other ones to shame, even Crysis 2. And don't come with the just console bs there is a game in there that just is on the PC. Called The Witcher 2.

Yes, I know but my computer is above on all specs.... but... My Pc can't run Napoleon Total War with everything set to high and get good framerates. However most titles, like Civ 5 or for example i can set on highest in everything except for DX11 as my computer only has DX10.
I just feel sad for them as they choose... Marvel vs Capcom.... *sigh*

You know what? Graphics are awesome. Graphics don't make a game but they certainly help make it better. I still play my PS1 and PS2 from time to time and play my DS a lot. I'm not expecting much from the graphics department but still enjoy them. I'm not expecting them to look incredible but if it's coming to the 360 or PS3 then it damn well better have good graphics. We're in 2011 now and I'm expecting the games to look better than they did 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or how many ever years ago. |

Look, I don't have a problem with devs wanting to make their games look nice.
It's just that many of these games mainly focus on technical novelty, which inevitably will get old.
My brother loved The Goodfellas yet he won't even think about playing Metal Gear Solid on the Ps1.
I HATE that.

Actually all of the games I own right have been said to have at least "good' graphics...
well...not for long!
